Taryn Suttie

Hometown: Hanley, Saskatchewan, Canada. Personal Best: 17.88m

She is a 4x Saskatchewan High School shot put champion. She attended the University of Saskatchewan and became a 3x CIS shot put champion and is the current CIS record holder. In August 2014, she joined RODHE SPORT. After nine months of working with Justin, Taryn improved her PR from 16.48m to 17.61m. In 2015 she was the Canadian Champion and a member of the Canadian Pan American team. Giedre Kupstyte

Hometown: Jurbarkas, Lithuania. Personal Best: 16.93m

Giedre began competing in sprint and long jump events, but found the throwing (javelin, shot put) events to suit her better. After a shoulder injury, she was referred to Coach Justin Rodhe by a friend and has decided to focus on the shot put due to the success she has seen with RODHESPORT methods. Giedre was the 2015 Indoor and Outdoor Lithuanian National Champion in shot put, Winner of the European Champion Club's Cup in 2015, and also a member of the Lithuanian team at the FISU World University Games. She is recently the 2016 Outdoor National Champion in shot put. Giedre would like to maximize her potential in the sport, and has the Olympic Games in her goals. Ryan Hershberger

Hometown: Clay Center, Kansas, United States. Personal Best: 19.29m

Matt Marcoccia

Hometown: Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Personal Best: 18.48m

Matt was the OFSAA Discus Champion for Ontario High School in 2009, 2011 NJCAA Indoor National Champion in shot put and a 2x NJCAA All-American. In 2015 he was the GLIAC Outdoor Champion in shot put. Matt was a 2x NCAA DII All-American and a member of the 2015 Canadian team at the FISU World University Games.

Mitch Obenrader

 Hometown: Fryburg, Pennsylvania, United States. Personal Best: 17.77m

Boasts an illustrious career at Penn State Behrend with a National Championship and 2nd Placing in the Javelin, 5th Indoor Shot and 3rd Outdoor Shot to date. This 6x D3 All American was State Runner Up in Javelin and placed 6th in the shot his senior year in Pennsylvania. Currently training with us full time. Instagram: @24oben

Jason Coon

Hometown: Reading, Pennsylvania, United States. Personal Best: 16.88m

Jason began getting serious about throwing when he was a junior in high school. He won the Pennsylvania high school indoor state championship as a senior with a PB of 18.17 meters with the 5.45kg ball. He then moved on to throw at Kansas State where he was a Junior National finalist with 6kg ball and PB of 17.97 meters and Big XII conference qualifier. 
He continued training and transferred to Capital University in Columbus, OH to begin working with Coach Rodhe where he threw his PB of 16.76 meters with the senior 7.26kg shot.

Alireza Rafiei

Hometown: Borozjan, Iran. Personal Best: 16.52m

He began throwing shot put when he was a middle school student. His personal goals include making the National Team for Iran as he trains with Coach Justin. Alireza placed 3rd at his High School National Meet two years, 1st Place at the West Youth Asian Championship, and 9th at the NJCAA Nationals in shot put. Follow Ali on instagram @rafieialireza 

Patrick Thompson

Began throwing seriously his senior year of high school at Washburn Rural High School. His high school PB was 51’10”. He qualified and placed at his state meet. After high school, he discovered his passion for throwing and strength training and walked on at Utah Valley University. He placed 4th at his 1st Indoor conference championship meet. Myron Goldsmith

Hometown: Columbus, Ohio, United States. Personal Best: 15.42m

Myron Goldsmith began his throwing career at St. Francis DeSales High School in Columbus, Ohio. Myron was a CCL champion and a Regional Qualifier with a PR in shot put of 52 feet.  In 2014 Myron committed to throw for Capital University in Bexley, Ohio.

He has placed at his Conference meet every season. In his sophomore season under Coach Justin Rodhe, Myron surpassed his shot put PR from the previous season by 1.03m and his discus PR by 5.59m.  Follow him @myrongold

Russell Bowman

Hometown: Perryville, Maryland, United States. Personal Best: 15.29m

Russell began throwing in 2012 during his junior year of high school before transitioning to Powerlifting and eventually Weightlifting. Realizing his passion for strength sports still remained in the throws he returned to throwing in the Fall of 2016 by walking on to UMBC Track and Field where he saw success in the shot put, placing in both indoor and outdoor conference meets.
